Indexable Inserts
As a Premier distributor for the LMT Group, Lizard are able to offer indexable inserts and holders from LMT brands Boehlerit, Fette and Kieninger. Each is a leader in its field.
The ISO turning range from Boehlerit with innovative cutting grades and modern geometries offers the optimum indexable inserts for every turning application, e.g. for steel, cast iron and aluminium machining and the cutting of super alloys with difficult chip formation.
Milling, as a method of machining, is of course a broad field when it comes to tools with indexable inserts. The applications are as numerous as the tools themselves. However, Fette have a comprehensive range to cover all tool types including face and copy mills, side and face cutters and simple chamfering tools.
At Kieninger the focus is on carbide and diamond tooling for the Mould and Die Industry. Numerous innovations in this field have contributed to improvements in tool life or to the rate of chip volume production when pre-finishing and finishing.
Kieninger also specialises in PCD and CBN tooling for the manufacture of automotive components.
In addition to these products Lizard has access to Iscar, Kennametal and Vargus tooling.
